Ritani Diamond Engagement Ring For $3K Budget
Hi Liz,
I’m hoping you can help me. I have a budget of $3,000.00 maximum for a loose round brilliant diamond, but would be great to come in under budget.
I’m looking to set the diamond in a solitaire setting, H color or better, S1 or better and between .60ct – .75ct. I’ve been looking at Ritani.
What are your thoughts?
Thanks,
Mary

Hi Mary,
I ran a search at Ritani and found this gorgeous .61ct F VVS2 for $1,969.00: http://www.ritani.com/diamonds/round-diamond-0-61-Carat-F-color-GIA-certified/D-Z09RWR
This diamond is a gorgeous GIA triple Excellent in cut, polish and symmetry. It has a super clean clarity grade of VVS2 and has ideal cut proportions. The diameter of the .61ct is 5.47×5.51mm.
One of my favorite Ritani diamond engagement ring settings is this solitaire knife edge with a tulip design: https://www.ritani.com/engagement-rings/solitaire-diamond-knife-edge-tulip-engagement-ring-in-platinum/5669
It’s gorgeous in it’s simplicity yet offers some design details that you don’t normally see. For example it has four prongs but each prong is actually two tiny ‘claws’! The shank is similar to the classic Tiffany setting with it’s knife edge detail.
I think the pairing of both this diamond with this setting will look stunning. The cost for both puts you at $2,889.00; which is just under budget.
Let me know what you think and if you have any questions!
Kind Regards,
Liz

Liz,
Thank you so much for your prompt response! I love the diamond and setting! Wow – I wouldn’t have considered it if it weren’t for your eye for detail – thank you so much!
All the best,
Mary
