How To Choose Diamond Stud Earrings Online

“Need Advice On How To Choose Diamond Stud Earrings; Approx .70ct Each With $6500 Budget”

Q:

Hello Liz, I need your advice on how to choose diamond stud earrings; approx in size of 0.70 carat each with budget of $6500 total and for optimum optical performing diamonds. Right now I am planning to buy only 1 diamond to be put in a ring. I have 3 diamonds within my budget from Brian Gavin:

Matched Pair Diamond Stud Earrings

By far the easiest way to purchase diamond stud earrings is to go with an already selected ‘matched pair’ from a leading vendor like Brian Gavin Diamonds. They have done all the work for you to ensure a perfectly sized matched pair of diamonds cut to super-ideal standards with gorgeous hearts and arrows optical symmetry.

Also wanted your opinion whether color “I” in these diamonds will have yellowish tint visible when placed in ring.

I really appreciate you guidance and selfless help in making such an important decision.

Thanks & Regards

Hi Sareeta,

Thank you for letting me know your diamond requirements and budget. I wouldn’t suggest buying one diamond now and waiting for your second purchase. It is somewhat tricky to get a perfectly (or close to perfect) matched pair of diamond stud earrings. I recommend purchasing them at the same time to ensure that you get diamonds that are of equal size, color, clarity and cut grade.

But with that being said, of all the diamonds you have selected below, I recommend this one: http://www.briangavindiamonds.com/diamonds/diamond-details/0.708-g-vs2-round-diamond-ags-c-104067690046

This diamond will have no visible warmth as it is a ‘G’ and will face-up perfectly white. With regard to ‘I’ colored diamonds, some people are color sensitive and prefer to stay with G or higher. If you are at all worried, then I would go with the .708ct G VS2. This diamond is also eye-clean with no inclusions visible to the unaided eye. It will be super brilliant and sparkly.

I love either of these two diamonds: http://www.briangavindiamonds.com/diamond_pair_comparisions/compared_diamond_details/CAGS-104069378092/CAGS-104068798045 as they are both super-ideal diamonds that will be gorgeously brilliant.

As for the last .80ct I SI1: http://www.briangavindiamonds.com/diamonds/diamond-details/0.800-i-si1-round-diamond-ags-c-104069378039 it does have a dark crystal directly under the main table facet. For this reason, I wouldn’t recommend this diamond for you.

Kind Regards,

Liz

Q:

Hello Liz,

I think you are right about it being difficult finding a similar stone later to convert the ring into earrings. So I just bought these: http://www.briangavindiamonds.com/diamond_pair_comparisions/compared_diamond_details/CAGS-104069378092/CAGS-104068798045

Hope they turn out just like I think :)I’ll send you picture of the earrings soon. Thanks again for all your help.

Thanks & Regards,

Sareeta
