Blue Nile Princess Cut Diamond Advice and Recommendation
Q:
Hi Liz,
I’m in my final stages of buying a Blue Nile princess cut diamond and engagement ring. I’ve been researching for about 4 months now and I am ready to buy.
I’ve settled on buying a Blue Nile princess cut diamond because I fell in love with a setting they have. I have narrowed down to a few stones but I’m not sure which Blue Nile princess cut diamond is the best and am hoping you can help me pick the best (or at least eliminate the worst).

P.S. I’ve really fallen in love with this .82 carat stone, but I really wanted a .9 carat. If this one was .9 I would have already bought it. Thoughts? https://www.bluenile.com/diamond-details/LD09524848
Thanks!

Hi Mark,
My vote is for this .90ct princess: https://www.bluenile.com/diamond-details/LD09042535
This princess cut diamond was graded by GIA on July 11, 2017 and has a very clean VS1 clarity grade. The grade making inclusions are a crystal, twinning wisp, needle and cloud which will not be visible without magnification. This princess also has 3 chevrons in the pavilion – making it sparkle beautifully. It definitely has the best overall cut, brilliance, and most aesthetic contrast pattern.
It’s stunning! Let me know if you have any questions!
Best,
Liz
